Fort Myers Beach

Fort Myers Beach offers something for everyone. Those who enjoy the buzzing beach life may like the small boutiques and restaurants at the pier. Here, you can rent a waverunner to cruise along the shore or watch the hustle and bustle at the beach from above while para-sailing. Just a few yards from the pier, the beach is uncrowded and invites you to take a leisurely stroll and to enjoy sun and sea.

If you are planning on extending your stay, Fort Myers Beach has several nice and fairly inexpensive motels.

The white beaches on Estero Island off the coast of Fort Myers invite you to relax and offer a view of the Gulf of Mexico. Of course, you can also go para-sailing or jet-skiing.

At sundown, you can watch the most mesmerizing sunsets on the mile-long white sand beaches. Watching the setting sun from the pier or from one of the beach restaurants is an unforgettable memory.

The "Carl E. Johnson State Park" in Lovers Key, a peninsula on Estero Island between Fort Myers Beach and Bonita Beach, is located farther south. Here you will find deserted beaches, clear waters and trees with interesting shapes.

Occasionally, a few small boats of vacationers enjoying a picnic are anchored along the shore. Everything looks quite picturesque. You can walk on the beach for hours and hardly see another person.
