Fort Lauderdale

Fort Lauderdale, Florida

When thinking about Florida, Miami Beach is one of the first things that come to mind. However, Fort Lauderdale, located north of Miami, has its own appeal. The city is honeycombed with waterways where luxurious yachts anchor in front of magnificent mansions. Even though life is more tranquil and quiet here than in Miami, it never gets boring.

The beach at the South Atlantic Boulevard (A1A) invites you to relax in the turquoise waters. It is lined with a beautifully designed boardwalk where you can jog, ride a bike or simply take a stroll. The Beach Plaza with its shops and restaurants is the heart of the boardwalk. You can enjoy a cool drink and chicken wings at Hooters or Lulu´s Bait Shack, watching the hustle and bustle at the boardwalk.
